Best Cash Back Credit Cards
As you are all aware, the Maybank FC Barcelona Visa Signature gives us guaranteed 10% cash back in May and August except for transactions related to government, utility and eWallets. Click here to read my article titled Best Cash Back Credit Cards 2020 (Password: FCB)
On the other hand, the wonderful Maybank 2 Gold/Platinum Cards AMEX gives us guaranteed 5% cash back every Saturday and Sunday except for transactions related to government, utility and eWallets. Click here to read my article titled Maybank 2 Cards – Gold and Platinum (Password: Amex)
Utility Versus TELCO – They Are Not The Same
I have repeated over and over again many times that TELCOs (Telecommunications companies), i.e. CELCOM, DiGi, Maxis, UNIFI and etc, are not classified as Utilities but many people keep asking me the same. The only reason why I would think that you are still blur is because you never “read” my articles and adsorb the contents but just glance through as if you think you already know what I am trying to teach you.
One more time, Utilities are Electricity (e.g. TNB), Water (e.g. Air Selangor), Gas and Sewerage (i.e. IWK – Indah Water Konsortium).
Paying Bills with M2U
Most of you are also aware that we are unable to pay CELCOM bills with our AMEX via M2U. But did you know that you can pay your CELCOM bill with your Maybank FCB Visa Signature?
Step 1 – Log In to M2U
Step 2 – Credit Cards
Step 3 – Click GO at the credit card you want to make payment with
Step 4 – Click Make A Payment
Step 5 – Select One Off Payment
Step 6 – Select CELCOM 🙂
And since it is the month of May, with the Maybank FC Barcelona Visa Signature you can get 10% cash back from your CELCOM and other bills. Once again, if you had read and not glance through the first paragraph of this post, you will know it is damn stupid to pay Utility Bills with the Maybank FC Barcelona.
Now, also remember, you can also earn 5% cash back on Saturday and Sunday when you use our Maybank 2 Cards Gold or Platinum to pay your Maxis, UNIFI and other bills but like I mentioned you can’t pay CELCOM bills with AMEX via M2U.
