Both Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines have announced extension of their Frequent Flyer Program for miles expiring in 2021.
Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles
Extending KrisFlyer miles that will be expiring between April and December 2020 by six months.
Extending KrisFlyer miles that will be expiring between January and June 2021 by six months. [NEW]
So if your KrisFlyer miles were extended in 2021 and supposed to expire in say February 2021, call KrisFlyer Customer Service to check if you get another 6 months extension.
Malaysia Airlines Enrich Miles
Refer to the table below for Enrich Miles and Enrich Vouchers expiring in December 2020, January 2021, February 2021 and March 2021 to the new expiry dates below:

What the above means is that if you have Enrich Miles expiring in December 2020, you have until 30th June 2021 to book your flight which can be in May 2022 🙂
For those of you who have previously paid for a ticket but did not fly, Malaysia Airlines have extended the dateline for us to re-book until mid next year for most people. So if you were were told earlier that you need to re-book your unused ticket before March 2020, call Malaysia Airlines Customer Service to check of there is a new dateline for you to re-book. And before you call, get your Flight/Booking Number Ready.
