My dad told me more than 30 years ago that despite him sending me to USA to obtain a Masters Degree in Engineering, I am still stupid because I smoke (that time Marlboro Light)! Well I must admit I am no cleverer or wiser because I still smoke!

Back in 2019, Iqos was introduced in Malaysia but the Heets Tobacco sold were very limited unlike in Japan where we could get the Platinum and Europe Yellow Selection.

I have been smoking Marlboro Gold/Light for years and when I initially switched to Iqos in Malaysia I don’t really like the Heets Amber Selection and was only happy when the Heets Bronze selection was sold in Malaysia.

Below show the Heets Yellow Selection I bought in Italy. The Heets Yellow Selection can also be purchased at Dubai Airport Duty Free (but remember we are to declare if we bring in any tobacco into Malaysia and pay duties else it will be considered as contraband).

However I still kind of dislike Iqos because I need to clean my heating devices regularly to maintain the quality of the heated tobacco flavour! So much so I went back to purchasing Marlboro Gold to keep myself happy! The good thing about Marlboro Gold is that I just need a lighter and do not need to recharge any Iqos heating devices. And lighters are damn cheap compared to Iqos devices (which I have bought many as some spoil, some lost and one of them despite cleaning it I still find the heated tobacco taste lousy).

But with the NEW Iqos Iluma, I may permanently switch to it because I do not need to clean the Iqos Iluma heating devices anymore 🙂
