As you all should know by now, BNM has issued directive to all banks to stop sending OTP!!!

But if you did not know – click here to read Migrate from OTP texts to curb online scams, BNM tells banks.

Well, soon all banks will stop sending us OTP and we will need to use out Smartphones to get so called secured notifications via app (e.g. Maybank where we can on;y transfer RM1K without OTP) OR secure devices, where no online banking activity is allowed to be conducted.

FYI, for RHB Mobile Banking, we are only able to perform online transactions at “secured devices” BUT here is the joke – in order to confirm that it is a secured device, we still need OTP! Hahaha.

And if you have been reading my articles on scams, many greedy people were conned into installing apk files into their Android smartphones where then the OTP is sent to the scammer where they can then have access to the victims’ online accounts.

Another thing, do you know that others can hack into your smartphones and steal whatever data that are stored inside it!

I tell you, you better park your extra cash into FD Over The Counter where no one can uplift it online!!! If you are stubborn and lazy, you only have yourself to be blamed if someone hacks into your online banking account and transfer every single sen out!
