Gold Savings Account

There are many banks offering Gold Savings Accounts but I will just touch on Maybank and UOB Bank.

Below is Maybank Gold Savings Account as of 4th Feb 2025:

From the above table, Maybank is selling 1g of Gold at RM411.54 and Buying at RM395.88 or difference of 3.8%.

Below is UOB Gold Savings Account Buy and Sell rates:

UOB Bank is selling 1g of Gold for RM406.20 (which is lower than Maybank) and buying at RM402.10 (higher than Maybank). The difference between selling and buying is 1%.

So from the above paragraphs, it is a no brainer that you should be investing in Gold Savings Account at UOB!!!
