If you have nothing better to do, then you can waste time playing Shopee App to earn really small money…….. but when accumulated over a year, it can be more than RM120 per phone. If you have 3 phones like me, then we are talking more than RM360 per year 🙂

I myself don’t purchase much stuff from Shopee as I prefer Lazada and in most cases after comparing, I find Lazada cheaper than Shopee!

So I will use the FREE Money earned from the Shopee App to pay my bills. For each bill payment, we can use the coins to offset 25%. Example below, I want to pay RM100 towards my AStro Account, I will then use 2500 Shopee Coins to offset RM25 and end up paying RM75 only. Bros & Sis, 25% cash back…… better than our Maybank 2 Cards Gold/Platinum AMEX 5%!!!

Before I forget, we can’t use AMEX to pay bills as Shopee but we can use AMEX fr purchases.

If you do not have much Shopee Coins, you can consider Lazada to pay your utility bills with the Maybank 2 Cards Gold/Platinum AMEX on weekends at Lazada to earn 5% cash back.

As for the AMEX Reserve, it is now as good as useless for all Local Transactions. So the smart one will go get other AMEX cards from Maybank.
