Redeeming TnG eWallet Reload Pin With Credit Card Reward Points
Hong Leong Bank
From the above, you need minimum 12,500 HLB Reward Points to redeem RM20 TnG eWallet Reload PIN.
If you earn 1 HLB Reward Point for every RM1 spent, this works out to 0.16%!!! OMG!!!
Even if you earn 5X HLB Reward Points, the return you get is 0.8%, not even 1%!!!
Standard Chartered Bank
From the above, you need minimum 71,500 SCB Reward Points to redeem RM100 TnG eWallet Reload PIN.
If you earn 1 SCB Reward Point for every RM1 spent, this works out to 0.1398%!!! It is even freaking worst than HLB!!! If you are a follower of mine, you will know that SCB and HSBC have one of the worst redemption rate.
Even if you earn 5X SCB Reward Points, the return you get is 0.699%, why are you wasting time with SCB Reward credit cards? Hahaha. If you are a SCB fan, I suggest you look into their cash back credit card instead to earn more.
UOB Bank
From the above, you need minimum 34,000 UNIRinggit Points to redeem RM50 TnG eWallet Reload PIN.
If you earn 1 UNIRinggit Point for every RM1 spent, this works out to 0.147%!!! Slightly better than SCB but still freaking bad!
Even if you earn 5X UNIRinggit for every RM1 spent, the return you get is 0.73%!!! Once again less than 1%!!!
CIMB Bonus Points
From the above, you need minimum 42,000 Bonus Points to redeem RM100 TnG eWallet Reload PIN.
If you earn 1 Bonus Point for every RM1 spent, this works out to 0.238%!!! Well, it is the best compared to the 3 banks Reward Points above but still freaking bad!!!
So, it is wise to get a credit card that earns you Reward Points?
