In the previous page, I showed you that Seiko watches purchased at Seiko Boutique either in Store or Online in Austalia will have 5 years warranty!!!

Why is the warranty not consistent? Because Seiko watches are cheaper in Malaysia?

You Can Probably Get Discount for Seiko Watches

Well, as you all know, we can get discount for most watches in Malaysia.

There are several sellers at Lazada and Shopee selling the Seiko 5 GMT. Below image was copied from Lazada Malaysia where the seller has a pretty good rating.

Well, the seller at Lazada claims that their Seiko watches are genuine with 1 year International Warranty. And best of all, at Lazada and Shopee, we can use AMEX and also get Cash Vouchers from many sources including using our FREE GrabRewards Points to offset the payment; thus making the watch even cheaper!

Well, I called Seiko Boutique at Mid-Valley and they do have the Seiko 5 GMT in Orange Dial available but not the other 2 GMT models. This tells you that the Orange Dial is not in demand and most probably it is because Rolex does not have a GMT with Orange Dial, hahaha.

A GMT watch is really useful when traveling. And with the Seiko 5 being an automatic watch, the owner does not need to ever worry about batteries!

Well, for those of you guys who bought a Rolex and keeping it in the Safe Deposit Box until the day you die where it will be inherited by someone else, you can get the Seiko 5 GMT to enjoy it daily; and if someone ask for your Seiko 5 while you are on the street, no worries, just hand it over to the desperate person who needs it more than you…. and you can then go get yourself a new one 🙂
