Introduction
Over the years I have published many Travel Reports on Emirates First Class, Singapore Airlines First Class and Singapore Airlines Suite Class which is beyond First Class.
However this year, 2023, I did not produce many new Live Travel Reports despite many of my air miles disciples flying here and there on First Class or Biz Class.
Below are a few of my disciple’s past Live Travel Reports post Covid:

For more First Class Live Travel Reports with various airlines please click here.
My Post Covid Trips
Post Covid, I myself have also managed to experience the wonderful Emirates First Class (Airbus A380 to Dubai and NEW Boeing 777 to Geneva), Japan Airlines First Class London to Tokyo and Singapore Airlines First Class Sydney to Singapore (pre-Covid I have flown Old and New Suite with Singapore Airlines).
Emirates First Class Liquor and Spirit – must try Hennessy Paradis. Emirates selection of liquor is way better than Singapore Airlines.
Below Singapore Airlines First Class Liquor and Spirits – nothing special but at least got some class Hennessy XO and Johnnie Walker Blue Label
Below Japan Airline First Class (London to Tokyo) liquor and spirits – no XO but VSOP!!!

However for Japan Airlines First Class, what you must try is their special Queen of Blue Tea.
My Business Class experience post covid:
Below Japan Airline Biz Class Tokyo to KL:

Below Turkish Airways KL to Istanbul Business Class:
Below Singapore Airlines Biz Class to Australia – they still serve Courvoisier XO for Biz Class on the plane and at their Lounge. The Chita and Macallan Quest or not expensive but easy to drink.
Malaysia Airlines Business Class – Post Covid NO MORE Courvoisier XO but lousy Otard XO. However the cheap Singleton Whisky is easy to drink hahaha.

GenX’s Disciple’s Emirates First Class versus Singapore Airline Suite Class
The main reason why I am producing this article is because one of my air miles disciple sent me a write up comparing Emirates First Class versus Singapore Airlines Suite Class AND more importantly Wi-fi Calling which can be totally FREE!!!
Below is the message from the Bro sent to me at WhatsApp which I have copy and paste:
Sifu, it’s been 2 months since I back from Europe and I realise I have not write you the review of return trip which is Singapore Airline Suite Class. So here is my review.
As I stepped into the aircraft, the suite class space truly amazed me, even though I had already seen what to anticipate from suite class through online videos. The steward and stewardess are both Malaysian, they are super friendly and fulfil all my requests. For instance, I asked for teddy bear and playing cards, the steward bring a pair of teddy bears and 3 pairs of playing cards for me and my wife. Besides, I ask for extra pair of pyjamas from the stewardess, she then bring me 2 extra pairs of pyjamas (1 for me, 1 for my wife) without question.
Shortly after the first meal, the stewardess offer to make the bed for us despite we’re not ready for bed yet, but we agree with that so that we can watch movies and sleep on the bed until the second meal.
Initially, I was a bit disappointed that Singapore Airlines only offers two meals for London to Singapore flights. However, I had pre-ordered a Book the Cook meal for my flights and I try to ask if I could add another main course from the menu. To my surprise, the stewardess allowed me to do so, provided they had the stock available. As a result, I ended up ordering an additional main course and enjoyed two main courses for my second meal, haha.
Upon arrived to Singapore, I then proceed to enter Private Room to enjoy their first class lounge. Since I arrived Singapore in the morning, they only serve breakfast menu. I then ask the waiter if possible to order satay (which it only available afternoon onward), I told her the flight that I took doesn’t have satay on the menu and I really want to try Singapore Airline famous satay, she then go to the kitchen and ask the chef. The chef agree to cook for me, just it take little longer (about half hour) cuz it takes time to prepare. Finally, I get to taste the famous satay from Singapore Airline.
In summary, the services provided by Singapore Airline are really top of the line. They fulfilled most of my requests and inquiries. It really makes me feel the power of the phrase that Sifu mentioned, “Ask and you shall receive”, hahaha.
Simple comparison between Emirates and Singapore Airline I took during this trip. Both airlines has their own strength and weakness.
Emirates
Strength: Foods and liquors very luxurious, meal can be order anytime (anything from menu), shower in the air
Weakness: Some stewardess not really friendly and service can be improved.
Singapore Airline
Strength: Great space and bed in suite class, exceptional services
Weakness: Fixed meal time and choice of meal, foods and liquors are relatively so so.
GenX’s Comments
I would like to thank the Bro who sent me his quick review of Emirates First Class versus Singapore Airlines Suite Class plus teaching me how to call my credit card’s customer service landline number (which has no WhatsApp to call for FREE) when I am overseas. Which means I can also call Enrich Customer Service which we have to wait and wait and wait most of the time, hahaha.
Oh yes, when I flew to Dubai with Emirates First Class, most of the stewardess were Asians and therefore friendlier. However for the flight to Geneva, the Steward and Stewardess were Europeans, service is still good but they are not as friendly as Asians (I am talking about First Class and not Economy where Asians stewardess are not that friendly too – I guess they have too many people in Economy Class to serve on board).
Urgent update on WiFi Calling
Update – I have removed the parts on WiFi Calling in this article for security reasons.
A Bro told me our phones are vulnerable to hackers with Wi-Fi calling 🤦♂️
Below is the link:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/news.yahoo.com/amphtml/android-users-turn-off-wi-102713046.html
So to be on the safe side, do not turn on WiFi Calling unless you really really kedekut to get a roaming SIM (example from Hello 1010) or local overseas SIM and need to call a landline in Malaysia haha.
Anyway, check your phone, if you are in Malaysia turn off Wi-Fi Calling especially if you are using an Android Phone. You have been warned.
