Only recently I published an article that kind of express what many of us felt – we were “played out” by Malaysia Airlines where they enticed us to convert our Credit Cards’ Reward Points to Enrich Points back in July 2023 where we could earn Elite Points to upgrade our Tier.
Then in August without any notice, we could no longer redeem Enrich Saver tickets with our Enrich Points!!!
Because of the promo in July, I converted my Credit Cards’ Reward Points to several hundred thousands Enrich Points. But these Enrich Points that I have converted have become almost as good as useless for redeeming Business Class tickets. Example, with Enrich Saver, I only need less than 55K Enrich Points to redeem a Business Class ticket KL to Australia. In the past 2 months and up to today, I will need more than 200K Enrich Points to redeem a Business Class ticket KL to Australia!!!
After the above said redemption back in July, I learned my lesson and have only been converting my Credit Cards’ Reward Points to KrisFlyer Miles or Asia Miles.
Well, Malaysia Airlines is once again having an Enrich Bonus Points Promotion now!
From the above, if you convert your Credit Card Reward Points to Enrich Points on 16th October until 18th October 2023, you will earn 20% Bonus Enrich Points. From 19th October you will only earn extra 10% Bonus Enrich Points.
Actually a Bro messaged me to inform me of the above promo.
But if you have been a long time die hard follower of mine, you have been taught to always read the TnC and never assume anything.

WTF! The Bonus Enrich Points will expire in 1 year from the earned date!!!
I tell you, without us being able to redeem Enrich Saver tickets at Malaysia Airlines website, most would not be bothered to convert their Credit Cards’ Reward Points to Enrich Points.
I tell you, if you are spending your hard earned money to collect credit card points which can be converted to KrisFlyer Miles, it is way better you go experience Suite Class (which does not need much if you do some research). Many people will tell you that it is hard to redeem Singapore Airlines tickets with KrisFlyer Miles, this is because they know nuts….. to me, it is easier to redeem a Singapore Airlines Business Class ticket compared to a Malaysia Airlines Business Class ticket!!!

Having said the above, Enrich Points are still pretty good if you know how to utilize them and I will just tell you one of them……you can fly from KL to Alor Setar with 2100 Enrich Points! So if your Bonus Points are expiring, just go Cuti-Cuti Malaysia 🙂
As for me….. I greedy and converted some of my Credit Cards’ Reward Points to Enrich Points today just to earn the extra the 20% Bonus Points. I have one year to use the Bonus Points which should not be an issue for me and most of My Air Miles Disciples…. like I said, Enrich Points are still pretty good if you know how to play them and more so if you have flown Singapore Airlines Suite Class.
Oh, just for the records, I did fly with Malaysia Airlines Business Class a few times this year between KL and Australia and I must say that the Malaysia Airlines’ Stewardess were friendlier and the service comparable to Singapore Airlines Business Class but Singapore Airlines Suite Class/First Class is another level altogether.
