Use Your Air Miles For First Class Because You Can Afford To Experience Business Class Flat Bed

I was searching for a ticket KL to Melbourne in June 2024 and initially I visited Malaysia Airlines website and noted that we can get 5% discount – refer to arrow in image below:

Anyway the cheapest Economy Class ticket I could find with Malaysia Airlines One-Way KUL to MEL was RM1,400.00.

Then I visited AirAsia website, and I noted than an Economy Class ticket KUL to MEL one-way cost less then RM500!!! So I searched for Business Class (Premium Flatbed) and was happy to note it cost less than RM2,400!!!

Heck RM2,400 is damn cheap for a Premium FlatBed (which the seat is equivalent to Malaysia Business Class and way better than Singapore Airlines where we need to sleep senget) and the best thing of all is – I do not need to use a single Enrich Point or KrisFlyer Mile or Asia Miles to have a Flatbed.

As pointed out to you in my previous article, today we need 113K Enrich Points for a Business Class ticket with Malaysia Airlines KUL to MEL.

So if I were to assume that the AirAsia Premium Flatbed price of RM2,400 and divide by 113K Enrich Points, it is like 1 Enrich Point is only worth RM0.021.

Bro & Sis, Enrich Point is like worth 2 sen!!! As I mentioned in my previous article, Enrich Points are good for stays and I have shown you at my YouTube video that we get better value than 2 sen with Enrich Hotels, hahaha.

You may argue you get to enter Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge, seriously it is nothing great except I get to enjoy Martell VSOP or Hennessy VSOP and smoking room, haha. If you are an air miles fan, I am sure your credit card will allow you to enter airport lounges for FREE. For my case, I have more than 6 Principal cards that allow me FREE access to airport lounges worldwide and 2 of them allow me to enter Plaza Premium First for FREE/

At Plaza Premium First, I order the food from my table and it is brought to me šŸ™‚

Below is AirAsia Flatbed KUL to Sydney where it cost less than RM2,500:

And it only cost RM1.5K for a one-way AirAsia Premium Flatbed to Seoul!!!

So Bro & Sis, once again I am going to reiterate that you should use your air miles to experience First Class which you most probably will never use your own money to pay for it. But you can afford and experience Business Class Flatbed (Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 and A380 the Business Class seat is the worst and it is called Diamond where you sleep senget).

It is getting tougher to accumulate meaningful air miles today compared to pre-covid. With credit card issuers and Frequent Flyer Programs inflating their reward program periodically, soon we will be only be able to redeem for Economy Class tickets with our credit card reward points.

Click here to read my article titled KrisFlyer versus Enrich and you will see that for the same number of Enrich Points for Business Class, you can fly First Class with other airlines.
