Maybank 2 Cards Premier (AMEX Reserve and Visa Infinite) – Conversion of Treats Points to Enrich Miles or KrisFlyer Miles or Asia Miles

Effective 1st June 2019, for Maybank Premier Cards, the conversion for air miles shall be 5000 Treats Points to 1000 Enrich Miles or KrisFlyer Miles or Asia Miles .

I tell you, the revised conversion is insignificant lah. With AMEX Reserve 5X TP, we are still getting 1 air mile for every RM1 spent. Which credit card can beat this fantastic conversion?

Moreover, for years when we had 6% GST, the conversion was 4770 TP = 1000 Air Miles. So 5000 TP = 1000 Air Miles is insignificant.

The good news for many of you is that the annual income requirement for the wonderful Maybank 2 Cards Premier (AMEX Reserve and Visa Infinite) will be reduced to RM100K p.a. This means more people will be able to enjoy earning air miles faster than ever before 🙂

Maybank 2 Gold/Platinum Cards AMEX

No more 5% cash back for Government and Utilities with the AMEX on weekends. Some of you may think is a set back but in actual fact it makes no difference if you have been reading my articles.

As for the no Treats Points earned on weekends, it is understandable since we can earn up to RM50 per month with the AMEX card if we use it on weekends. So once you hit RM1K spending on weekends, you can stop using the AMEX card on weekends.

As for weekdays no diff as we still earn the same 5X TP with the AMEX.

Maybank FC Barcelona Visa Signature

No cash back for Utilities and Government effective 1st June 2019. Well, you still can use it to pay your insurance and other stuff.

CONCLUSION

Actually Maybank’s revised terms and conditions for the above said cards are not major and actually insignificant to my die hard followers as there are many other credit cards to replace Maybank cards to earn them cash back or air miles from all type of spending including government and utilities. If you ask me, Maybank credit cards, including the cards mentioned above are still the best credit cards in Malaysia.
