UPDATE 5th September

Previously I shared with you guys about the Samsung Galaxy M31 and M21 Flash Sale where it was selling for RM929 and RM699 respectively. Three Bros actually messaged me to thank me for informing them about the sale where one bought the M31 for himself, another bought the M31 for his dad and another bought the M21 for his dad too.

Well guess what? Lazada Samsung Official Store is having another Flash Sale for the M31 and M21 on 9.9.2020 and the price is even cheaper than what we paid!

I have been using the Samsung Galaxy M31 for a month now and have no complains and the 6000 mAh battery is really good. Anyway click below to read my brief review of the Samsung Galaxy M31.

INTRODUCTION

On 6th August, I shared with you guys that Lazada Samsung Official Store was having a Flash Sale for their Galaxy M11, M21 and M31 (click here to read it).

As I told you guys, the Samsung Galaxy M31 Flash Sale Price was RM929, which is more than RM150 (more than 10% discount) off the Official Retail Price of RM1,099. And since it is from Samsung Official Store at Lazada, I am guaranteed a new set with official Samsung Malaysia warranty; and therefore I bought the M31 without hesitation.

One of my followers messaged me late in the evening to thank me for posting the above Flash Sale as he also bought the Samsung Galaxy M31 for his dad 🙂

UNBOXING MY NEW TOY – SAMSUNG GALAXY M31

When I ordered the Samsung Galaxy M31 at Lazada on 6th August 2020, at the same time I also bought many casings for it, mainly from China! However, I made sure I ordered a casing from a local supplier so that it will be delivered to me asap.

Well, the Samsung Galaxy M31 was delivered to my home on the morning of 8th August 2020 and so was the casing I ordered from a local supplier. So my new phone is ready for action.

Inside the box, you will find the phone, 3 Pin Power Point for Malaysia, Charger Cable and wired Headphones.

TRANSFERRING FILES FROM MY OLD XIAOMI A1 ANDROID ONE TO MY NEW SAMSUNG GALAXY M31

As usual we need to register our phone with Samsung Malaysia.

If you have a Samsung Account, all you need to do is to Log In when you are asked to do so on the M31. Once you are Logged In with the M31, the phone is automatically registered to your Samsung Account.

If you do not have a Samsung Account, create one on the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 comes with an App called Samsung Smart Switch which allows you to transfer Contacts, Messages, Apps, Photos, Videos, Music and Files from your old phone.

So first I had to go download Samsung Smart Switch to my old Mi Android One. Once this was done, everything was so easy….. just click here and there and it is all automatic.

As mentioned earlier, when ordering the phone, I also made sure I ordered a casing from a local supplier so that it will be delivered to me within 3 working days.

CONCLUSION

I must say I do like the Samsung Galaxy M31 6.4″ screen. I am only using this phone mainly to keep in contact with My Air Miles Disciples so it is more that adequate for me. Plus with 128GB, I can take tons of useless photos here and there with it, haha.

HOWEVER, yes there is a big CON, this Samsung Galaxy M31 DOES NOT SUPPORT Samsung Pay!!! So if you are thinking of double dipping with Samsung Pay, this phone is not for you. Go check the compatible Samsung Pay phones before you purchase a Samsung Phone.
