Malaysia Best Cash Back Credit Cards For Different Categories
So the categories for most Credit Card users today are:
- Petrol and/or Groceries
- Online Transactions to pay bills (Astro, Broadband, TELCOs, Electricity and etc), online shopping (Lazada, Shopee, etc), food (Food Panda, GrabFood, etc), groceries (Tesco etc), government related bills and etc.
- Topping Up eWallets in particular the Top 3 eWallets in Malaysia, i.e. Boost, Grab and TnG eWallet.
- PayWave, PayPass and Samsung Pay for contactless payments which is super important today with the covid-19. Dining will fall into this category.
Another category which may interest credit card users is for Insurance Premium. However for small amount, cash back credit cards that rewards meaningful cash back via online should suffice. For Insurance Premiums of more than RM2K/month, I would think the card holder should be playing air miles as he/she will be earning peanuts from cash back credit cards.
