Goodbye Malaysia Airlines Airbus A380

It is a sad chapter in Malaysia Airlines where they are disposing 6 of their Airbus A380.

I myself have flew with Malayisa Airlines Business Class Airbus A380 on 6 flights from KL to London or Paris years ago and I tell you the seats were really comfy and spacious. Many of you would have read my past reports of my Business Class flights with the Malaysia Airlines Airbus A380.

Actually, my dad, mum, wife, 4 children and one of my Sis all have experienced flying on Business Class with Malaysia Airlines Airbus A380 return KL/Europe thanks to my Credit Card Rewards Points (mainly thanks to Maybank 2 Cards Premier).

Below is a photo I took many years ago (while I was still blogging at blogspot) from MAS Golden Lounge at Heathrow London before I boarded the Airbus A380.

And below is a photo of the Malaysia Airlines Airbus A380 Business Class Cabin. Look at the damn spacious seats compared to the current Airbus A350 to London.

Anyway, click here to read Malaysia Airlines is selling its Airbus A380s on LinkedIn.

According to the report – A cash-strapped airline is taking an unusual approach to offloading its fleet of A380 planes, which each have a $400 million price tag.

Wow! if really each of the A380 can fetch AUD400 (since the report is at News.com.au), that will be great as that means we will be able to recover more than RM6 Billion of the Rakyat’s money as the planes are now idling and not generating any income.

And I am sure many of you too will miss Malaysia Airlines A380 and now we have to suffer on the not so spacious Business Class seats on the A350.
