The West Hotel Sydney Curio Collection by Hilton is a 4 Star Hotel located near Darling Harbour. It is also about 5 minutes walk to George Street; but, if you want to walk to Circular Quay and then to Sydney Opera House, it would take you 15 to 25 minutes depending on how fast you walk.

I would recommend The Fullerton Hotel located at Martin Place as it is really in central, i.e. in the heart of CBD. Or maybe even Hilton Sydney would be a nicer location compared to West Hotel Sydney Curio Collection by Hilton.

If you just need a clean room just to sleep for a night or two in Sydney, the West Hotel Sydney is okay.
