On Christmas Day I dined with my wife alone as my children are away. They are all now adults and earning their own money and are living their own lives. My wife made deconstructed chicken pie (better than Dome’s) and her puff pastry was really flaky and nice.

Today is Boxing Day and I did not want to miss the fun of burning money but then again I don’t need anything. Anyway while I was searching for some thing to burn my money on, I came across Dyson Cordless Vacuum Sale…..

My wife had a Dyson V7 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner but the rechargeable battery did not last and therefore the V7 is now useless.

So I spent the night researching for a good cordless vacuum cleaner. One thing lead to another, and after watching several videos comparing Dyson vacuum cleaners to other brands, I was somehow impressed by the Xiaomi Dreame Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaners.

And the price of Xiaomi Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaners are much cheaper than a Dyson. So I decided to get a Xiaomi Dreame Vacuum cleaner because after a few years when the vacuum KO, the savings I get from not getting a Dyson, I can buy a newer more advance vacuum cleaner again.

So the two models I was contemplating to get for my wife as a Chrismas Gift were the Xiaomi Dreame V11 (with all surface brush, model V11 SE in Asia) which has non removal battery versus Dreame T20 which has removal battery. In the end I decided to get the V11 and I told myself after 3 years just get a new vacuum cleaner as we all know motorized and rechargeable gadgets can’t last forever.

Without further ado, I present to you Xiaomi Dreame V11 with all surface V-Shape Motorized Brush (also known as V11SE for some countries).

Now the previous Xiaomi Dreame V11 comes with a Soft Roller Brush which is good for hard floors but not carpets or pet hair and definitely not for ladies with long hair.

But if you watch the video, you will notice that the video shows the Soft Roller Brush which most of the video reviews at YouTube also has the same soft roller brush.

Actually, I would think that the Dreame T20 would be a better model as it has removal battery and more suction power and most houses in Malaysia do not need to use the Max Power and therefore one can use the vacuum for longer before the battery goes flat.

In my case, I decided on the V11 with V-Shape all surface brush simply because I need to use it on mostly carpet and therefore the battery can’t last more than 30 minutes and for quick use only as we also have a normal more powerful corded vacuum cleaner. Moreover, I thought that whichever model I purchase also won’t last forever and I will have to get a new cordless vacuum when My Wife’s Christmas 2021 Gift, i.e. the Dreame V11, KO in a few years time. And most probably there will be a newer model with better battery life in the future.

Once again please note from the above you will note that in Malaysia the V11 (on the right) comes with Soft Roller Brush unlike the Australia version that comes with All Surface V-Shape Brush.
