You can now use your KrisFlyer Miles to redeem for Malaysia Airlines tickets

On 29th February, Singapore Airlines announced that we can use your KrisFlyer Miles to redeem for Malaysia Airlines’ Biz Class and Economy Class tickets KL to/from Singapore and London.

Now if you refer to the above, we need 103.5K KrisFlyer Miles to redeem a Malaysia Airlines Business Class ticket KL to London. Well, this is GOOD because those who want to fly with Malaysia Airlines and holds the Maybank 2 Cards Premier credit cards should redeem for KrisFlyer Miles instead of Enrich which need 149.3K Enrich Points for the same flight!

However, within a few days of above announcement, Singapore Airlines removed the Biz Class option!

From the above, we need 49.5K KrisFlyer miles to redeem an Economy Class ticket for a Malaysia Airlines flight KL to London. I will tell you this, don’t waste your time but in this case, just use your Enrich Points (please refer chart in Page 3) and you will find that unlike Business Class tickets, Enrich Points gives you a better deal, haha.
