Enrich Points 10% Bonus From Credit Cards But If You Are Thinking Of Converting Your Maybank’s Reward Points,You Better Plan Ahead

If you are a Malaysia Airlines Enrich Member, you would have received an email informing you of the 10% Bonus Enrich Points when we convert our credit cards’ reward points to Enrich Points.

The 10% Bonus Enrich Points promo runs until 19th July 2024. However this time, there is no benefit in converting on the first 3 days unlike earlier this year where we could earn 15% Bonus Enrich Points.

If you are an Enrich Points fan, you would know that Malaysia Airlines usually offers the Bonus Enrich Points twice a year….. usually in the beginning of the year and mid year.

However, recently Malaysia Airlines made some changes to the Bonus Enrich Points!!! The validity of Bonus Enrich Points is only 1 year!!! Take note!

Well for us with Alliance credit cards, we have no alternative but to convert our Timeless Bonus Points to Enrich Points. However, this time we will be earning less Enrich Points as Alliance Bank inflated the conversion rate to 15K TBP = 1K Enrich Points early this year.

If you are My Air Miles Disciple or even a long time die hard follower of this blog, you will know that I keep reiterating that you should convert your Maybank Treats Points to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles….. AND more importantly do not stupidly burn your KrisFlyer Miles on Biz Class but experience Suite Class. Those who listened to me are eternally grateful for having the opportunity to experience Singapore Airlines Suite Class which is beyond First Class.

Now some of you die die want to convert your Maybank Treats Points to Enrich Points despite me telling you that Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles give us better value compared to Enrich Points.

Like I warned you in my two previous articles, if you have Maybank Treats Points, you need to plan in advance as Time Is Of The Essence. Well, in the TnC of the 10% Bonus Enrich Points, they warned you again!

Once again, in my article titled Revision To Maybank Air Miles Redemption (click here to read it), in Page 3 of this said article, I showed you the calculations that very limited number of people will be able to convert their Maybank Treats Points because of the stupid ridiculous 100,000,000 air miles monthly quota!

And true enough, many Maybank cardholders were disappointed that they could not convert their Maybank Credit Card Points to air miles on 1st May and 1st June 2024!

So if you really really want the 10% Bonus Enrich Points or whatever Frequent Flyer Program Air Miles, you better convert your Maybank Rewards Points to Air Miles before 8am on 1st July 2024!!!

For my case, I converted most of my Treats Points before 12th April 2024, which I told you all to do the same, therefore I have no stress and moreover with Maybank actions of (1) downgrading the Maybank 2 Cards Premier to 2X TP for every RM1 spent locally; and (2) inflating the conversion rate of TP to 10K TP = 1K air miles, I have stopped using my AMEX Reserve and the Outstanding Balance has been RM0 for month, haha.

Yah Maybank 2 Cards Premier are kind of useless today but like I told you the the above link, get the MBB MB VI Metal Card before you terminate your M2CP so you at least get to shiok sendiri for minimum 1 year, hahahaha.

Last but not least, I must inform you that you should check our Enrich whenever they have a sale because sometimes the promos can be very good.

For example, below shows just how ridiculous Enrich Points redemption can be where you need 97,200 Enrich Points for an ECONOMY CLASS ticket KL to Melbourne. With that amount of miles, you can experience Singapore Airlines FIRST CLASS Singapore to Melbourne or vice-versa!

However, when you can get a promo ticket, you only need 21,300 Enrich Points to redeem an Economy Class Ticket KL to Melbourne.

Then again, I have showed you previously you only need to pay RM439 for an Economy Class ticket with AirAsia KL to Melbourne!!! And I also gave you a Live Travel Report on AirAsia Premium Flatbed KL to Melbourne where I only paid RM2399 for it!

Click here to learn that you can get an Economy Class ticket for less than RM500 KL/Australia one way with AirAsia. And you can even fly Premium Flatbed one way to Seoul for less than RM2K.
