I keep telling everyone of My Air Miles Disciples not to be foolish by redeeming Singapore Airlines First Class or Business Class tickets, but instead be smart and experience Singapore Airlines Suite Class which is beyond First Class. Reason being, unless you can earn lots of air miles, once you redeem a First Class or Business Class ticket, you will lose the opportunity to experience Singapore Airlines Suite Class.

With time, it gets harder and harder to earn FREE air miles with credit cards as they keep changing the terms and conditions. Airlines also periodically inflate their redemption program. Therefore with time, we will be earning less air miles with credit cards and coupled with needing more air miles for a specific class, looks like we can only fly Business Class in the near future. What this means is, we still have the opportunity to experience Business Class for FREE in the future but it would be really difficult to experience Suite Class.

Well, one of My Air Miles Disciples just flew with Singapore Airlines Business Class and sent me a photo of his seat yesterday. FYI, this Bro has lots of KrisFlyer Miles and has flown Singapore Airlines Suite Class before. He messaged me yesterday and mentioned that the seat is the widest for J (Business) Class – which is true but I also stated the obvious:

If you refer to the image above, which is a Business Class seat on Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 (Old), yes the seat is really wide but the seat in front is also damn freaking near! And having a super wide seat does not necessarily mean it is more comfortable because, if say your butt is seated in the middle, most probably your arm cannot rest on the armrest! And the joke with Singapore Airlines Business Class is that the armrest is only on one side and you have to sleep “senget”!!!

I have experienced Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 Business Class, which is similar to the above Airbus A380 where the seat is damn wide; BUT I tell you, Singapore Airlines Business Class was a joke to me. The stupid Business Class seat cannot convert to a flat bed by pressing the buttons and worst still,  I had to sleep senget!!! Below are photos of Singapore Airlines Business Class on Boeing 777:

As for Singapore Airlines “NEW” Airbus A380, the Business Class is equally a joke where you need to sleep senget, too!!! Below is a photo of the said Business Class seat which was taken by My Air Miles Disciple when she experienced the NEW SUITE Class (click here for her full Live Travel Report):

Same case for Singapore Airlines Business Class Airbus A350 where you need to sleep senget!!!

If you really need to fly with Singapore Airlines on Business Class, always try to book the Bulk Head Seat where you do not need to sleep senget 🙂

FYI, the Singapore Business Class seats where you need to sleep senget is called “Diamond Seats”.

Singapore Airlines Boeing 787 and some newer planes to Brisbane and Adelaide has a different seat configuration where you actually can sleep straight. However, one of My Air Miles Disciples who flew with Singapore Airlines Boeing 787 on Business Class stated that it was like sleeping in a coffin, hahaha. I on the other hand flew from Brisbane with Singapore Airlines Business Class A350 and was happy with the seat as I could sleep straight 🙂

There Is Still A Difference Between Bulk Head Versus Standard Business Class Seats On SIA NEW A350-900 For Medium Haul Flights

The bulk head seat is more spacious in terms of leg room and the “hole” to insert our feet is also larger. Please refer to photos below:

Anyway, the point is, from the above you can see for yourself that Singapore Airlines Business Class is nothing great but is a joke for most cases.

Below is what is shown in Singapore Airlines website, in September 2019, they won awards for First Class, Premium Economy and Economy BUT NO Business Class! So I guess many agree with me that Singapore Airlines Business Class is a joke, hahaha.

 

So unless you have lots of air miles you can suka-suka burn them. Do not be stubborn and redeem for Singapore Airlines Business Class or even First Class BUT experience their Suite Class which is beyond First Class.
