Another Reusable Mask That Kills Virus – By Dr Mama

Earlier I shared a washable Antivirus Mask by Prolexus called ProXMask V90 that claims to kill viruses and has 5 Layers.

 

After I posted the above said article, my beautiful and smart wife went to the pharmacy and returned with a similar reusable mask that is washable up to 100 times, self-sanitizing and kills virus too! This said mask is by Dr. Mama and cost less than RM20 per piece and Made In Malaysia too!

Self-sanitizing sounds great and kills harmful virus is wonderful.

In Dr. Mama’s website, it is stated that the mask kill most pathogens, i.e.bacteria, fungi and viruses, upon contact with the special treated fabric s impregnated with positively charged silver ions.

Basically both Dr. Mama’s Mask and Prolexus’s ProXMask V90 use an outer washable fabric that has positive charged ions that kills germs. The difference is that Dr Mama’s Antivirus Mask has 3 Layers versus ProXMask V90 which has 5 Layers. And ProXMask V90 claims that their mask is water repellent…………… what water are they referring too…….. repel saliva sprayed into the air from people talking? Hahaha.

At the rear of the box, it is stated that the mask can be used for maximum one day and then it must be hand washed. I thought it was self-sanitizing, hahaha.

Anyway, for less than RM20 per piece and washable up to 100 times, it is more than reasonably priced and you should get one or two. However, since I kiasu, I think I will stick to the ProXMask V90 which has 5 Layers of protection and repels water….. actually I am stuck with it since I already bought 2 packs of ProXMask V90 (4 pieces) for myself which should last at least for the next 4 months and I have yet to include my stock of P95, N95, K95 and 3 ply disposable single day use masks, hahaha.

Oh yes, one of my followers asked if the ProXMask V90 is easy to breath when wearing it? Let me put it this way, wearing any mask cannot compare to not wearing one; therefore please take note of this when you are going to exercise wearing a mask.
