I used Shopee to top up RM30 for one of my Hotlink.

Saving No.1 – I saved RM0.22 (or 0.73%).

Saving No.2 – I saved RM7.44 (24.8%) by using the FREE Shopee Coins.

So in total I saved 25.5%!!!

I then used my Maybank Visa Infinite to pay the above and earned myself about 8 air miles. If you have a credit card that gives you cash back, you can save another 3% (with Affin Duo Visa) or 5% (with PBB Quantum MC).

I now have RM30 at my Hotlink where I can redeem for 3xRM10 Lazada Cash Voucher (which I get another 5% discount).

With the RM10 Lazada voucher, I then purchased Sunflowers seed from Lazada, hahaha. Paid about RM11 (with FREE Shipping) for 20 packs of Cha Cher 40g Sunflowers seeds. If I were to purchase them from the store near my place, it will cost me RM32 (RM1.60 per pack).

Basically, what the above means is by me paying RM22.34 at Shopee for Hotlink,I get RM30 worth of money (in terms of 3xRM10 Lazada Vouchers)! That’s 25% extra from thin air plus air miles too 🙂

Or looking from another angle, above is a method to convert the FREE Shopee Coins to Lazada Cash Vouchers, haha and get FREE validity for your Prepaid.

FYI. we also can redeem once a month a RM10 Lazada Voucher from DiGi Prepaid for just RM6.99 which is even better than Hotlink.
