If you had a Citibank Malaysia PremierMiles credit card, UOB Bank Malaysia would most probably have issued you their new UOB PRVI Miles Elite credit card.
So is the UOB replacement card any good? Click here to my YouTube Chanel to watch my quick review of it.
Conclusion – the UOB PRVI Miles Elite is currently the best non-premier banking credit card for overseas spending!!! But that is if you do have substantial overseas related spending like more than equivalent RM60K per year which at least you can minimum get a Biz Class ticket KL to Australia. If you can spend more than RM120K per year on overseas transactions, then you must get this UOB PRVI Miles Elite card and pay the damn annual fee if they are not willing to waive it….. because with RM140K equivalent spending on overseas transactions, you can earn close to155K KrisFlyer Miles and experience Suite Class Singapore to Australia.
And if you are new to my blog, and you believe the AMEX is useless, please click here to my Best Top Credit Cards Page and click on the Credit Card Tutorial 101 so that you do not waste your time on useless credit cards that earn you peanuts.
I tell you, the American Express credit cards are the best is Malaysia.
The Maybank 2 Gold/Platinum Cards AMEX earns you 5% cash back for PETROL in addition to Lazada*, Shopee*, Grab Ride*, Grab Food*, AEON (including cigarettes and liquor), Jaya Grocer (also including cigarettes and liquor) and etc.
Note * – paying directly and not topping up Wallet!
The Maybank 2 Cards Premier AMEX Reserve earns you 1 KrisFlyer Miles for every RM1.40 spent LOCALLY (except for Utilities, Education, eWallets, Government, Insurance and FPX/Jompay) and overseas (any transaction not in Ringgit Malaysia). So if you want to experience Singapore Airlines Suite Class, which is beyond First Class, you must get the Maybank 2 Cards Premier.
