Good Hibiki Master’s Select Deal at KrisShop & FREE Money

Previously in my article titled Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master’s Select Airport Edition Versus Japanese Harmony – They Are Not The Same! (click here to read it), I showed you that with the 18% discount promo at KrisShop, I managed to secure 2 bottles of Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master’s Select for SGD255.82 or less than RM468 per bottle.

Well, I just managed to secure another 2 bottles of the Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master’s Select whisky for the same price as stated above. But first let me share with you on Malaysia Airlines and Singapore Airlines redemption for Business Class tickets……..

Last week I decided to fly to Melbourne this week and only started to search for Business Class redemption and as usual I am blessed, i.e. Malaysia Airlines Biz Class KL to Melbourne and Singapore Airlines Biz Class Sydney to KL (but with SIA, I will need to sleep senget, hahaha). Well, I will need to fly from Melbourne to Sydney but as I always say, God wants me to go where I just go.

In my article titled Malaysia Airlines Enrich Saver April 2024 (click here to read it), I showed you that Malaysia Airlines now have Enrich Saver promos for Business Class tickets where you will need less Enrich Points compared to what they quoted earlier this year. And one of the promo is we get Biz Class KL to Melbourne for 75K Enrich Points (but I can’t seem to find any Melbourne to KL for 75K Enrich Points on Biz Class?!).

In respect to the above, so when I searched late last week for Malaysia Airlines Biz Class KL to Melbourne, I did get Enrich Saver Biz Class for 75K Enrich Points but Economy on the same day was 72K…. go figure, using Enrich for Economy Class is ridiculous right (for this case).

You see, when I initially searched for Biz Class tickets Melbourne to KL in May, I could not find any Malaysia Airlines Enrich Saver before mid of May 2024 (there are Biz Class for redemption but at ridiculous rate of above 200K Enrich Points); as for Singapore Airlines, even the Advantage Option was only on Waitlist (I kiasu and therefore I never opt for Waitlist – but sometimes you may get a confirmed ticket after you booked a Waitlist).

In my article Use Your Air Miles For First Class Because You Can Afford To Experience Business Class Flat Bed, I showed you AirAsia tickets can be freaking cheap KL to Melbourne, i.e. RM439 and RM2499 for Economy and Premium Flatbed respectively.

So I searched AirAsia and the one way ticket KL to Melbourne or Melbourne to KL were about RM1K for Economy as the dates were near. Therefore, AirAsia was out since I can just use my air miles and fly Biz Class where I will pay less than RM500 for the relevant taxes. (However, if you search for AirAsia flights in July KL to Melbourne, which is still months away, you can get less than RM400 and RM2500 for Economy and Premium Flatbed respectively).

As I mentioned above, I could not get any Enrich Biz Class or confirmed KrisFlyer Biz Class tickets Melbourne to KL while I was searching last week. However, when I searched from Sydney, to my pleasant surprised I could get promo Singapore Airlines Biz Class tickets 🙂 So, I decided to book it and go to Sydney and get to jalan-jalan there again.

I have shared (with photos) previously with My Air Miles Disciples that my youngest daughter brought my wife and I for lunch at Bennelong inside Sydney Opera House and Cafe Sydney which had a nice view of Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. I have also stayed at Shangri-La Sydney and Four Seasons Sydney (of course using my air miles lah) where both had fantastic view of Sydney Harbour. So if you do go to Sydney, I recommend the restaurants and hotels (use your air miles – FREE lah) mentioned in this paragraph.

Recently, I did received an email from KrisShop but that time I have yet to book any tickets with Singapore Airlines and therefore was not bothered to check it out. Actually, two of My Air Miles Disciples also messaged me to inform that the Kavalan was on sale and the Hibiki was back in stock too.

Today, suddenly I remembered the above mentioned KrisShop promo ankld decided to check it out since I am going to fly with Singapore Airlines next month to KL. Who says we can’t get a Business Class ticket with Singapore Airlines last minute? Haha. My Air Miles Disciples and I can always get First Class (Emirates, Qatar, Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Etihad, ANA The Suite and etc) and/or Business Class tickets to where we want. And I have proven this prior to pre-covid where I listed all My Air Miles Disciples bookings to all over the world and also from the many Live Travel Reports posted in this blog or my FB.

So I logged into KrisShop and was happy to learn that the Hibiki Japanese Harmony was still in stock 🙂 Why was I happy? The last time I shared that we can get the Hibiki Harmony Master’s Select at a fantastic price from KrisShop, it was sold out the next day. Three of My Air Miles Disciples did managed to secure themselves the Hibiki after reading my post as they all know that – Time Is Of The Essence 🙂

Above is my order (paid with my UOB Privilige Banking VI as I earn more air miles compared to any Maybank credit card for overseas spending) and you will note that the final price I paid is exactly the same as what I paid in February 2024 when I also bought 2 bottles of the same Hibiki plus another 2 bottles of Hennessy VSOP for damn good prices after the 18% discount.

FYI, we can bring in 2L per pax of duty-free alcohol into Australia but only 1L per pax into Malaysia.

So Bros & Sis, if you are flying with Singapore Airlines, I recommend that you go to your KrisShop account now and get either the Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master’s Select or Singapore Airlines Exclusive Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique (if you blur, it is the blue coloured box). Well if there are 2 of you flying, get both and you will thank me later when the price of each bottle reached RM2K in few years time 🙂
