For years I have been telling all of you to use AMEX for your Grab Rides and Food where you select your Maybank AMEX as Default Payment Method. With the Maybank AMEX, we can either earn Cash Back (AMEX Plat-i everyday or Maybank 2 Gold/Platinum AMEX on weekends) or Air Miles (today the Maybank KrisFlyer AMEX Platinum is good).

Anyway, today I wanted to order Grab Food and as usual the Default Payment Method was with my AMEX that earns me air miles (I have 3 AMEX cards as Payment Methods in my Grab). When I tap on Offers, I was surprised that I can get RM6 off with AMEX!!! FREE Money!

Now, with me choosing the AMEX Promo, I can even stack another voucher where I get RM8 off.

The Maybank AMEX for Grab Food runs until 14th July 2025.

Actually the Grab Food Maybank AMEX Promo is also good for Maybank AMEX issued in Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam!

For Grab App, I only use my AMEX for Grab Rides and Grab Food where I pay directly using AMEX. I don’t top up my Grab Wallet with AMEX since we earn nothing with Maybank Card for topping up eWallets.

If I still have cash back quota with my AMEX Plat-i or Maybank 2 Cards Platinum AMEX, I will use either one depending if it is a weekday or weekend.

And the best of all is I can earn FREE Grab Points at Hanks (Jaya Grocer) PLUS Air Miles when I pay with my AMEX for spirits 🙂

While drafting this article, I went and check if there are any offers for Baskin Robbins, I selected Quart which is priced at RM64,91 and to my surprised there was a Baskin Robbins Offer too! With the promos + Delivery Fee and Take Away Fee, I ended up paying RM56.69 (please note I have Grab Unlimited so my delivery fee is cheap).
