A Bro just shared with me that come 1st December 2025 there will be some revision to Alliance Bank’s Credit Card Redemption Program. So I went to Alliance Bank’s website and under Announcement you will see the below details:
As far as the TBP expiring in 3 years, I don’t think it is an issue as all credit cards’ redemption programs inflate with time and therefore it is wiser to redeem our credit cards’ rewards points as soon as possible.
- The Good news is Alliance Bank did not inflate their redemption for Enrich Miles where we need 15K TBP for 1K Enrich Points.
2 & 3 – Now comes the bad news!
Effective 1st December 2025, we can only redeem Enrich Points in multiples of 5000, which means we need 75K TBP.
The worst part is we can only redeem 20,000 Enrich Points per month!!!
So with the capping of 20K per month, it means we cannot take full advantage to redeem our Alliance Bank Credit Cards Rewards Points when Enrich is having their Bonus Points Promo!!!
FYI, for the past few years, usually Enrich will have Bonus Redemption twice a year, i,e, early of the year and mid year.
With the 20K Enrich Air Miles Redemption, we will need to do some planning to optimize.
Case 1
You currently have 0 TBP
Assuming you can earn 25K TBP per month, and Enrich will have the Bonus Points in Promotion in February 2026 (it can be January, I am just assuming).
So for November, December and January, you will earn 75K TBP which you can then redeem for 5K Enrich Points in February 2026 and earn extra Enrich Bonus Points too.
Case 2
You currently have 300K TBP which you can redeem for 20K Enrich Points but you waiting for Enrich Bonus Points in February 2026.
Assuming you can earn 50K TBP per month. For November, December and January, you will earn 150K TBP. Therefore you will have a total of 450K TBP at the end of January 2026.
When Enrich is offering 20% Bonus Points in Feb 2026, because of the 20K Enrich Points per month capping imposed by Alliance Bank, you can only redeem maximum 300K TBP to convert to 20K Air Miles!!!
In respect to the above, you will have 150K TBP remaining and continue to earning TBP each month and when Enrich is offering Bonus Points again, you can once again only redeem maximum 20K Enrich Points.
In respect to the above, if you are earning like 50K TBP per year, you may be able to enjoy the twice yearly Enrich Bonus Points Promotions BUT we also know that credit cards’ redemption programs inflate with time!
On the other hand, if you are earning like 200K TBP per month, you will need to redeem every few months because of the 20K Air Miles Cap!!!
Conclusion
As far as Alliance Visa Infinite and Platinum credit cards, I have mentioned that these cards are useless after Alliance revised the cars’ benefits where we no longer earn 8X TBP from eCommerce and topping up eWallets.
However, the Alliance Virtual Card is freaking good because it is FREE FOR LIFE and we still earn 8X TBP for eWallets and eCommerce.
And the Alliance Virtual Card is also freaking good in terms of our personal security where we can create as many virtual accounts we want!
