KrisShop Versus Eraman Duty Free – KrisShop Really Freaking Good Sale. Order From KrisShop Now If You Are Flying With Singapore Airlines Soon Even If You Do Not Drink!

Early last week (prior to 1st Aug 2025), I used my wife’s booking number to order a bottle of Glenmorangie Signet and Hibiki Harmony Master’s Select for SGD235.20 and SGS128 respectively after 20% discount with TRAVEL20 Code.

Then on 2nd August 2025, I check out KrisShop again and was shocked (in a good way) that the Glenmorangie Signer and Hibiki Harmony was selling for even cheaper without the 20% discount. As I scrolled down the Wine & Spirits page, the deals were getting more and more and some are really unbelievable.

Below are some of the super sale Duty Free prices for Whisky and Cognac at KrisShop:

As you can see from above. the Signet and Hibiki Harmony are now selling for SGD205.80 and SGD112 respectively…… if I was not so kiasu and waited for few days instead of worrying stock may habis and ordered earlier, I could have saved SGD45.40 or more than RM148.

And look at the Martell XO 1L, it is selling for SGD277.90. So for equivalent 70cl, the price would work out to be SDG277.90 x 0.7 = SGD194.53 which is less than RM700.

If you did not know, Jaya Grocer Hanks is selling the Martell XO 700ml for more than RM1K.

Eraman Duty FREE

I have kind of stopped buying liquor from Eraman for years as nowadays their prices are kind of ridiculous.

Below are some of the prices of Whisky and Cognac at Eraman:

We can even get the same liquor for less from local merchants in Malaysia where they need to pay duties, no kidding. Below are two examples where Eraman Duty Free liquor cost more!

KrisShop versus Eraman

Anyway, like I was saying, if you are flying with Singapore Airlines or even Scoot, you can purchase not only liquor but also beauty products from KrisShop and get pretty good discount. However, in order to be eligible to purchase stuff and delivered them on-board, your flight must be 60 days or less or else an error message will appear (can’t find flight).

Below are some examples of KrisShop versus Eraman:

Now look at the above, KrisShop is offering Hennessy Paradis for less than RM3.5K whereas it is more than RM6K at Eraman!

Anyway, I ordered 2 bottles of the Martell XO 1L under my booking to Australia as 1 pax can bring up to 2L of liquor Duty FREE. Remember, earlier last week I also ordered 2 bottles with my wife’s booking; therefore, I will be bringing total 4 bottles into Australia.

For my return flight back to KL, which my wife is also flying together, we can only bring in 1L of liquor per pax, so I can order 2 bottles.

I sent the above image to my uncle to show him the Hennessy Paradis’ price at KrisShop. He then called me t say it is a good deal as it cost close to RM6K per bottle today and moreover it is the new box. He then said to order 2, one bottle for myself and the other bottle he will reimburse me….. so I asked him how many bottles of Hennessy Paradis he has already? My uncle replied he has 6 bottles but the wants the new box too, hahaha.

However, as of today (4th Aug 2025) I still cannot purchase from KrisShop yet for my return flight to KL as it is still more than 60 days before the scheduled flight….. hopefully when I can purchase, in the coming few days, they still have the Hennessy Paradis in stock.

CONCLUSION

If you are flying with Singapore Airlines or Scoot in the next 60 days, get a bottle (or more depending on where is your destination) of liquor as the sale is really good. Even if you do not drink, listen to me, get the Hibiki Harmony because SGD112 is a damn good price and it is a really nice gift,…….. if you have nobody to give it to, give it to me as a gift and I will be extremely garateful, hahaha.

Also check out the beauty products at KrisShop, sometimes the sale is really really good. My wife bought some SK-II products last month went we returned to KL and she got discount on top of the sale price at Check-Out!

I tell you, you should check KrisShop frequently, sometime last year they offered 50% discount for Hennessy XO for delivery to Singapore address only…. but you can have them delivered to a friend and slowly bring them back, hahaha. And I can tell you, the Hennessy XO from KrisShop taste completely different from the Hennessy we get from local shops in Malaysia.

Having said the above, if you are ever in Europe, get a bottle of Martell Cordon Bleu or Remy Martin XO or Hennessy XO and you will find that the cognac bought in Europe taste better than the ones we get in Malaysia!!!

I tell all My Air Miles Disciples that they are to purchase the Martell Cordon Bleu when they are at Heathrow and many of them have done so and all of them will tell you that it taste better than any Cordon Bleu we get in Malaysia!
