Today, 31st May 2019, I was shocked to see the prices of Hibiki Japanese Harmony and Yamazaki 12 Years at Dan Murphys Melbourne outlet. For the pass 2 years, the price of Japanese Whisky in Australia was relatively lower than Malaysia and elsewhere but I guess that is changing and now catching up with the rest of the world.
Hibiki Japanese Harmony Price Australia
In April 2019, I managed to secure 3 bottles of the Hibiki Japanese Harmony from Dan Murphys for just AUD119.99 per bottle.
Yamazaki 12 Years Price Australia
I have not been really buying Yamazaki 12 Years for months as I don’t really enjoy them. However back in May 2018, I only paid AUD179.95 to AUD199.99 per bottle at Dan Murphys.
Price of Hibiki Japanese Harmony and Yamazaki 12 Years as of 1st June 2019 at Dan Murphys Melbourne Australia
Dan Murphys is now selling the Hibiki Harmony and Yamazaki 12 Years at AUD149.90 and AUD 299.99 respectively!!!

As of 1st June 2019
The Hibiki Harmony price has increased 25% since April 2019. Maybe this is acceptable since the AUD has been weakening. On the other hand, the Yamazaki 12 Years price has increased a whopping 50% (from AUD199.99 in May 2018 to AUD299.99 in June 2019)!!!
I tell you, if you have a bottle of Yamazaki 12 Years, you better don’t open it and you would most probably make some money in a couple years time. As for the Hibiki Harmony, if you love it, you better start to stockpile before the prices increase further.
