Emirates A380 First Class – Part 3

Because our flight qualifies the requirement for the Dubai Connect, I wrote to the CS over Facebook Messenger (most recommended way to get their support, even if reply may be a few hours delayed but you will get your answer and even assistance through FB!) to request for a FREE room. While we should get the voucher in KLIA, I didn’t and immediately I texted Emirates CS over FB messenger and by the time I arrived at the Plaza Premier Lounge (sadly the Emirates Lounge in KLIA is still closed) I received assurance I can get the hotel voucher in Dubai when I arrive.

Once I got the hotel voucher from the Dubai Connect First Class and Business Class counter, then we stumbled our way to go get our Chauffer-drive service. The ride is in a nice BMW, short 5-7 minutes until our hotel – Le Meridien Airport Hotel. We will also need to get our visa on arrival, but easy process without any problem.

The transit plan with a hotel was already in my original plan – but I actually made a booking for a capsule hotel at the airport for 8 hours. Thank God I saw in one of the youtube video sharing about Dubai Connect and I was very grateful I qualified for a FREE night stay. Immediately I cancelled my own booking – indeed the best decision as First Class passengers will usually get Le Meridien Hotel for their free transit stay between 10-24 hours. Upon check in, we were also being offered a dinner voucher – one meal is included besides breakfast! We arrived at hotel around 12am, and just can’t wait to get ourselves a good night rest. While we can also exchange the dinner with lunch next day (as our flight was at 3pm the next day) – but who wants hotel food when we can experience Emirates First Class Lounge food right? 😀
