As all of you know the Maybank 2 Cards Gold/Platinum is FREE FOR LIFE. Regardless if you are into Cash Back or not, get the Maybank 2 Cards Platinum.

Because I have reiterated over and over and over again that one must always hold a FREE FOR LIFE credit card because the moment one retires or have no income, it is very tough to get a new credit card.

Nowadays, many banks will reject applications for a new credit cards if one is above 65 years old.

In respect to the above, say you do terminate all your Maybank credit cards now and later when Maybank launch a new credit card, you will need to submit documents and Maybank will need to follow BNM Guidelines when processing your application; and the probability of your application for the new credit card will be rejected is freaking high if you have housing and car loan plus other banks’ credit cards.

With the new conversion rate of 20K TP to 1K Air Miles, this means you can earn 1 Air Mile for every RM2.50 spent. This is way better than AMEX Reserver 2X TP where you earn 1 Air Miles for every RM5 spent.
