Enrich Points Bonus February 2025 From Credit Card Redemption

Yesterday evening I received an email from Malaysia Airlines informing me about the Enrich Bonus Promo when we convert our credit cards’ rewards points. Usually Malaysia Airlines will send the promo email a day or two before the start date; but this time they only sent the email on the actual start day – which means most would have a day less opportunity to convert their credit cards’ reward points to Enrich Points to be entitled for the 20% Bonus.

If you are an Enrich Points fan, you would know that Malaysia Airlines offers the Bonus Enrich Points twice a year, usually in February and June/July.

If you have been reading my articles, to be specific The Best Top Credit Cards in Malaysia 2025 (click here to read it), you will note that I have mentioned that CIMB eCC Visa (at Page 3) and Alliance Bank’s credit cards (at Page 7) are excellent to accumulate Enrich Points.

Since today is the 19th of February, I called Alliance Bank CS first thing in the morning to convert my Timeless Bonus Points to Enrich Points. Last year a few of My Air Miles Disciples had issues when they converted their Alliance Bank Timeless Bonus Points to Enrich on the last day of the 20% promo. As I tell everyone, always be kiasu and don’t do things last minute, hahaha. Get it over with immediately (for any matter) and move on to enjoy life.

Then I Log In to my CIMB Clicks to perform online redemption for the Enrich Points. Nowadays, CIMB requires minimum 62,500 CIMB Bonus Points to redeem for 5K Enrich Points.

Now, both Alliance Bank and CIMB credit cards only credit their Reward Points on Statement Date. But since we do get 10% Bonus Enrich Points until 31st March 2025, we still have the opportunity to earn 10% Bonus Enrich Points in addition to the 20% Bonus which ends tomorrow.

If you are a long time follower of mine, you know that I have reiterated over and over again that we should only use our Air Miles for Business Class tickets because redeeming for Economy Class gives us miserable returns. You would probably earn more from playing Cash Back Credit Cards if you are using your Air Miles.

Seriously, for Economy Class, you can get promo tickets for really cheap prices to most destinations during off-peak. Tip – easiest and quickest way to check ticket prices is just Google and you will get a list showing you prices for different airlines.

Only recently I published an article on Enrich Hotels where I showed how to optimize from the 5000 Enrich Points Discount. And for “cheap” hotel rooms where we need less than 12800 Enrich Points per night, with the 5000 Enrich Points off, we will need less than 8000 Enrich Point and this is where your Enrich Point can be worth more than redeeming for a Biz Class!

Cheap FireFly Ticket RM109 including 10kg Check-in Luggage Subang to Singapore

And since I mentioned cheap tickets, now we can also get a Firefly ticket from Subang to Singapore for RM109. Well, Seletar is not as convenient as Changi but then again for those of us living near Subang Airport it is damn convenient compared to going to KLIA.

As of 19th FEbruary when I searched, the RM109 ticket Subang to Singapore starts from 5th March 2025.

RM109 from Subang to Singapore, you tell me is this cheap or not? If we can get this ticket, wouldn’t one be a fool to use his/her air miles to redeem the same ticket?
