From now until 31st December, if you hold a Maybank Visa Signature (minimum annual income requirement RM70,000) or Maybank Visa Infinite (minimum annual income requirement RM100,000), you may be eligible for up to 10% cash back at Shell.

Why did I state “may” in the above paragraph? Because as usual, you need to read the TnC!!!

First of all, in order to qualify for the above promo, you need to spend minimum RM300 at Shell for PETROL only.

Secondly, the maximum cashback is capped at RM50 per month and is available on a first-come first-come first-served basis. What this means is that the cash back is not guaranteed

Thirdly, there is a monthly cap of RM41,700.

Last but not least; the promo is capped up to RM200 cashback per customer during the entire Campaign Period.

In respect to to the cap of RM41,700 per month and maximum RM50 cash back per cardholder, it means only maximum 834 people will get RM50. But not many of us will be pumping RM500 on the first week of the month unless you own a trailer or lorry.

So I reckoned most will earn less than RM50 per month or nothing at all since we need to pump minimum RM300 before the end of the month.

And take note, assuming you can qualify for the maximum cash back of RM50 per month (July, August, September and October) where you pump RM500 per month at Shell, because of the RM200 cap per customer for the entire campaign period, you won’t earn anything for November and December 2025. But you won’t know because the cash back will only be credited in 2026!!! Hahahaha.

If you are a long time follower of mine, you know I do not like promos/contests as we are not guaranteed anything. So with me not playing this promo, it means better probabilities (yah it is kind of gambling) for you.
