Yes, both the CIMB Travel Platinum and CIMB e Credit Card are Entry Level Credit Cards where one need less than RM30K annual income to qualify. But if you are my long time die hard follower, you will know many of the FREE FOR LIFE Entry Level credit cards are far more superior that Premier Credit Cards!!!

Basically both the CIMB Travel Platinum and CIMB eCC are great to compliment your FREE FOR LIFE Hong Leong Bank Visa Infinite and/or Maybank Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Platinum AMEX.

Having said the above, for essential expenses such as Petrol, Groceries, Lazada, Shopee, Grab Rides, Grab Food and etc, I would reckoned you will earn more in returns if you use Cash Back Credit Cards.
