INTRODUCTION

If you are a long time die hard follower of mine, you will know that I have been reiterating over and over again to accumulate KrisFlyer Miles to experience Singapore Airlines Suite Class which is beyond First Class!

Once you experienced Singapore Airlines Suite Class then you can go experience Singapore Airlines First Class followed by Business Class. I have reiterated over and over again PLAY TOP DOWN because over time Credit Cards’ Redemption Program and Frequent Flyer Program inflate and eventually we can only get to fly Economy Class for FREE from our credit card expenses!

In respect to the above, for examples:

• Maybank 2 Cards Premier AMEX Reserve became useless in December 2023 where we only earn 2X TP and since then Maybank has inflated their Air Miles redemption for Treats Points! • RHB will be revamping their Credit Cards’ Reward Points Program effective 9th April 2025 making them also as good as useless! FYI, I have terminated my Maybank 2 Cards Premier including Supp Cards thus saving me RM250 (Principal + 4 Supp = 10 cards x RM25 SST). But of course I signed up for the Maybank MB Cards and issued Supp cards and therefore effectively I saved much less, hahaha.

As for my RHB Premier Visa Infinite, it is FREE FOR LIFE without any condition so I will just keep it and donate RM50 SST (plus Supp Card for my wife) to the government for them to provide services to the Rakyat.

Currently, for those whose annual income are less than RM200K p.a. I have recommended several credit cards to accumulate both Malaysia Airlines Enrich Points and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles in my article titled The Best Top Credit Cards in Malaysia 2025 (click here to read it).

So, from the above links, you will then know in order to optimize, which credit cards you should be holding based on your own spending pattern.

Well, most of you my die hard long time followers would be accumulating both Enrich Points and KrisFlyer Miles in order to optimize earning FREE Air Miles from your own spending pattern. Moreover, Malaysia Airlines only flies to London and since last year Paris.

Therefore many of you were excited when you received an email from Malaysia Airlines Enrich informing you that you can use Enrich Points to redeem for Singapore Airlines flights to Barcelona, Copenhagen and Zurich. It is understandable if you are collecting both Enrich Points and KrisFlyer Miles as you can now use your Enrich Points to redeem for a ticket to Copenhagen and back using KrisFlyer Miles from Zurich (or other cities in Europe).

In respect to the above where you have limited Enrich Points or KrisFlyer Miles to redeem only a one-way ticket, then it makes sense to use your Enrich Points for a one-way ticket to or from Europe.
