INTRODUCTION
In my previous article titled My Freaking Long Journey From KL to Melbourne via Hong Kong February 2019, I explained why I am flying from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne via Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific.
In the above mentioned article, you will learn that I managed to change my flight with AirAsia even though I have Checked-In, live lobster in Hong Kong is cheap, which Cathay Pacific Lounge you should visit in Hong Kong (there are 4 in Terminal 1, i.e. The Wing Gate 2, The Deck Gate 16, The Bridge Gate 36 and The Pier at Gate 65 and not all of them are the same) and etc.
In this article, I will present to you my experience with Cathay Pacific Business Class on Airbus A350 and in particular flight CX105 which departs Hong Kong at 00.05 and arrive in Melbourne at around noon.

In flight Experience with Cathay Pacific Business Class CX105 HK to MEL
First of all I would like to set the record straight. A couple of my followers have told me of their bad experience with Cathay Pacific stewardesses. Well, in my case, I am extremely happy with Cathay Pacific Business Class service. The steward and stewardess who served me were courteous, attentive, efficient and professional.
If I have any complains, it has nothing to do with Cathay Pacific staff but their management – and it is that there is no bed sheet/seat cover for me to sleep on the flat bed. Therefore, I had to sleep directly on the rough seat material. FYI, Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines and Qantas provide a smooth seat cover for their Business Class Flat Bed. Anyway, here are more photos and videos.

CX105 Business Class Hong Kong to Melbourne In Flight Liquor – Champagne, Wine, Whisky, Cognac, Beer and Cocktails:
I ordered the Hine Rare Fine Champagne Cognac and it was the first time that I tried it and found it to be pretty good. I requested the steward to bring the bottle to me and he happily entertained me.
CX105 Business Class Hong Kong to Melbourne In Flight Supper Menu
For supper I had the fish and I liked it.
After supper, I slept straight for about 6 hours and woke up in time for breakfast 🙂
I tell you, eggs, sausage and bacon. Yes bacon in the sky!!! That’s close to heaven for me, hahaha.
Melbourne, Australia.
Landed in Melbourne ahead of schedule before 12pm. And the CX105 was the only flight at that time, so I cleared Immigration within 2 minutes. As for Customs, it was the very first time in my 6 years of flying into Melbourne that there was no one at the Exit!!! Since I have no check-in luggage, I was the first to exit Customs. The Express Card for Business Class passengers was useless to me, hahaha.
