Revision To Alliance Bank Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum TnC
In respect to the above, the main revision is that the 8X Timeless Bonus Point (TBP) for e-wallet transactions is capped at a maximum of RM3,000 per monthly billing cycle. In other words the Alliance Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum is still good for topping up eWallet BUT only up to RM3K per month!
Well, many of you misuse the Alliance Bank’s credit card for topping up eWallets and that’s why Alliance Bank has to revised the TnC. But unlike other banks, the people at Alliance Bank are smart enough to cap the topping up of eWallet at R3K because many people do top up their eWallets with credit cards and END UP IN THE SHIT HOLE OF DEBT. And I tell you, with many eWallets now offering Pay Later, more and more people will end up in the shit hole of debt! Therefore Alliance Bank move is very smart as there are not many competitors in this said category where the cardholder is rewarded for topping up eWallets.
I can tell you this, there are many many many more people who are greedy for credit card Reward Points who end up in the shit hole of debt because they think they are freaking smart where they earn something every time they top up their eWallets with credit cards without realizing they actually are losing big time and getting poorer if they are in debt compared to those of us (those who read GenX GenY GenZ and thus become super smart) who make use of credit cards to earn FREE Money without paying a single sen in interest to the card issuers!
As for spending, we still earn 8X Timeless Bonus Points for retail spending; but then again, only those who have not been educated by me will use their Alliance Bank VI or Plat over the Maybank 2 Cards Premier or other cash back credit cards earning them minimum 3% cash back, hahaha.
Having said the above, many of us air miles fans have so much air miles today because we can’t fly, then maybe, BIG maybe, you can use the Alliance VI for Insurance and TNB payments…… once again a said BIG maybe, because there are other credit cards that earn you better returns for Insurance and TNB payments.
