As you all should know by now, back in December 2023, Maybank revised the Maybank 2 Card Premier AMEX Reserve where we now only earn 2X Treats Points for Local Spending.

Then in March they announced that effective 12th April 2024, the total Air Miles monthly quota for ALL Cardholders combined will be 100,000,000. And I then published an article to show you that this new condition is really really bad for Maybank Cardholders where in Page 3 I showed you the calculations to prove to you just how bad it is.

In the above said article, actually in the title itself I already warned all not to be greedy and in the article I recommended all to convert their Treats Points to Air Miles before 12th April 2024, i.e. before the stupid 100,000,000 air miles monthly quota comes into effect.

But as usual, most people are greedy (in wanting to prolong their so called air miles they have in terms of Treats Points BUT they failed to understand that they actually have no air miles, but just an imaginary thingy in their heads that does not exist, until they convert their TP to Air Miles and the Air Miles is in their Frequent Flyer Program) and do not plan in advance for all possible shit scenarios despite me wasting my bloody time teaching them for FREE to always plan ahead for shit happens scenario. Yeah FREE no value, hahaha.

Well, those who did listened to me and followed my instructions to the dot will then benefit and also have less stress.

And true enough, on 30th April 2024, Maybank announced that the conversion rate of Treats Points to Air Miles will be inflated on 22nd May 2024. I then immediately produced an article to warn all the same morning,

However because of the revision to the TnC effective 12th April 2024, the allocated 100,000,000 air miles quota was finished before 10am on 1st May 2024!!!

In respect to the above paragraph, what Maybank said about the new conversion rate effective 22nd May was immaterial and actually meaningless because of the Terms and Conditions that came into effect on 12th April 2024!

That was why back in March I already told all to covert their Treats Points before 12th April 2024!!! For those who did not follow my instructions on this said matter, serve you right for not being able to convert your Treats Points at the previous rate of 7000 Treats Points = 1000 Air Miles and I can tell you – I TOLD YOU SO, hahahahaha.
