Well, those of you who signed up for an Ambank Enrich Credit Card are going to be pissed off, hahahaha. You see, effective 1st August 2025, the Ambank Enrich Credit Cards are really freaking useless!!
Below shows the revision come 1st August 2025 for the Ambank Enrich Credit Cards:
The above table is self-explanatory and I am not going to waste my time telling you just how useless the Ambank Enrich Visa Infinite and Platinum will become effective 1st August 2025.

AmBank has copied Maybank where they will make it not worthwhile to use their Enrich credit card(s) for transactions related to Education, Utilities and Insurance, haha. But they went a step further compared to Maybank where they cap the Enrich Points earned from these said transactions to 8K Enrich Points per billing cycle, haha.
If you refer to the above table, you will note that the AmBank Visa Infinite and Platinum benefits are exactly in between the mediocre Maybank Visa Infinite….. someone at Ambank really did not need to use his/her brain cells but just “follow” Maybank, hahahaha.
As I published yesterday, Alliance Bank is also revising their Visa Infinite and Platinum Credit Cards effective 1st August 2025 but at least their Visa Infinite will earn you more Enrich Points overseas compared to the Ambank Visa Infinite.
And Alliance Bank Platinum Visa will also earn you more Enrich Points for transactions related to Dining, Groceries and Petrol compared to the AmBank Visa Infinite or Platinum.
NOW, I am not saying the Alliance Visa Infinite or Platinum is good, I am just telling you that the Alliance Bank’s revision effective 1st August 2025 still makes them better than Ambank Enrich credit cards especially related to LOCAL Transactions.

It is very common for credit card issuers to revise their credit cards’ benefit. but for Ambank to revise their Enrich Card’s benefits so soon (about a year time from it’s launch) is definitely a new record, haha.
Do you think it is a odd that credit cards issuers (RHB Shell, Alliance VI & Platinum and Ambank Enrich VI and Platinum) are revising their credit card benefits mid-year this time around instead of year end or early of the year?
Anyway, like what I have recommended over and over again, get the Maybank Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Platinum AMEX…………… BUT then again, if Maybank revise this said card’s benefits, also habis, hahaha. Like I warned all my readers years ago, unless you are a big spender, most of us will only earn enough air miles from our credit cards expenses to redeem Economy Class ticket 😥
