The No.1 Best Cash Back Credit Card In Malaysia – Maybank 2 Cards Gold/Platinum American Express (32.30% of total votes)
The Maybank 2 Gold/Platinum Cards are FREE FOR LIFE without any conditions. Basically only the AMEX is good as it is a hybrid credit card that earns you both Cash Back and 5X Treats Points (reward points). As for the Visa or MasterCard that comes with the combo, you can keep it in the drawer because it is really useless unless you are entitled to get some kind of discount with it.
Both the Gold and Platinum versions have the same exact benefits.
Effective 1st June 2019, the Maybank 2 Gold/Platinum Cards American Express earns you 5% cash back on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for all types of transactions except for JomPay, Government and Utilities (TNB, Gas, IWK and Water). You will earn ZERO Treats Points on weekends with the AMEX.
On weekdays (Monday to Friday), the Maybank 2 Gold/Platinum Cards American Express earns you only 5X Treats Points for every Ringgit spent with the exception of transactions related to Government (ZERO Treats Point), JomPay (ZERO Treats Point), Insurance (1X Treats Point), Utilities (1X Treats Point) and Education (1X Treats Point).
With the above, you can earn guaranteed RM600 per year in Cash Back plus Treats Points too.

The MBB FCB VS is FREE FOR LIFE too without any conditions.
The Maybank FC Barcelona earns you 2% cash back capped at RM50 per month. However, in the months of May and August, you are entitled to 10% cash back capped at RM100 per month. Therefore, the maximum cash back you can earn from the Maybank FC Barcelona is RM700 per year!!!
The No.3 Best Cash Back Credit Card In Malaysia – Public Bank Quantum Cards (13.66% of total votes)
The Public Bank Quantum Visa and MasterCard credit cards are FREE FOR LIFE without any conditions too.

The Public Bank Visa and MasterCard each has its own Monthly Cash Back Cap of RM30, i.e. total cash back RM60 per month with both cards.
The No.4 Best Cash Back Credit Card In Malaysia – Public Bank Visa Signature (11.18% of total votes)
The Public Bank Visa Signature annual fee is waived if you swipe it once a month. It earns you 6% cash back from Dining, Online and Groceries transactions.
This card used to be fantastic but Public Bank has reduced the monthly cash back cap to RM38 per month in 2018!

The No.5 Best Cash Back Credit Card In Malaysia – Standard Chartered Bank Just One Platinum (4.97% of total votes)
The SCB Just One Platinum MasterCard annual fee is waived if you spend RM20K with it. This card is pretty good if you have monthly insurance premium amounting to RM2.5K exactly where you can earn RM85 per month – that’s RM1,020 per year in FREE money!
