Singapore Airlines has been awarded the Best Airline In The World 🙂
For years I have been telling my readers not to stupidly burn their KrisFlyer Miles on Biz Class but they must play top down, i.e. fly Suite Class which is beyond First Class and after that only fly First Class or Business Class.
And those who have experienced Singapore Airlines Suite Class then will understand the above statement because Suite Class on the Airbus A380 is indeed an experience of a lifetime. The Airbus A380 is no longer in production and soon all Airbus A380 will stop operations commercially and will be history like the Concorde.
I have produced many reports by my air miles disciples on their experiences with Singapore Airlines Suite Class and all of them have the same conclusion – it was a wonderful experience to gather fond memories.
When I first started blogging more than a decade ago, I started off with Cash Back Credit Cards and I bestowed the Maybank 2 Cards Gold/Platinum AMEX as the Best Credit Card in Malaysia. Well, guess what? It has been more than 10 years and today the Maybank 2 Gold/Platinum Cards AMEX is still the Best Cash Back Credit Card in Malaysia!!!
If you are new to my blog, especially if you just started working and want a credit card, I recommend that you click here and read my Credit Card Tutorial 101. This Tutorial will teach you that there is no such thing as the best credit card but you must select one that suits your spending pattern to optimize. And if anyone tells you AMEX is not widely accepted in Malaysia, that person know nuts about Credit Cards. With the basic knowledge taught in my CC 101 Tutorial, you will then have the knowledge now and in the future and determine yourself what credit cards are good for you. I will tell you one thing, forget about HSBC, but if you stubborn or think you smarter than me, you will regret later when others holding Maybank or other local banks’ credit cards are earning much more in returns than you where they are flying First Class and you flying Business Class, hahaha.
The Maybank 2 Cards Gold/Platinum AMEX (FREE For Life without any condition) earns you guaranteed up to RM50 a month in Cash Back – that’s RM600 per year FREE Money!
On the other hand, the Maybank 2 Cards Premier AMEX plus Visa Infinite (which are FREE For Life if you hit the minimum spending) earns you Treats Points for air miles and is the best for Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Air Miles.
The AMEX Platinum Charge Card (without the Maybank Logo) is really good for various Frequent Flyer Program.
Here is a quick breakdown of why everyone should get an AMEX in Malaysia for LOCAL Spending:
- Depending on which AMEX card you hold, it will either earn you Cash Back or Treats Points for Pumping Petrol!!! Most credit cards today are useless for petrol!!!
- AMEX is accepted at Lazada (including paying bills) and Shopee!!! Not top up eWallet but use AMEX to pay directly.
- AMEX is accepted at all major departmental stores and groceries too (e,g, Jaya Grocer and AEON Supermarket).
- AMEX is accepted for Movie tickets.
- Many restaurants accepts AMEX (e.g. Imperial Group Restaurants, TGIF, Ippudo and etc) including Starbucks.
- AMEX is accepted for all luxury brands or stuff that have good resale value (e.g. Chanel, Hour Glass for PP or Rolex without any surcharge, Poh Kong and etc).
- You can use AMEX to purchase air tickets including AirAsia.
However, in 2018/2019, I realised that cash back credit card makes no difference to my followers and started to promote Air Miles instead for FREE; but as usual lah, not everyone is grateful and a few people pissed me off and I then decided to only teach a selected few grateful followers on how to play air miles. That’s when I started my Air Miles Project to teach those who are grateful and have faith in me for them to experience Singapore Airlines Suite Class which is beyond First Class.
The thing is this, one may know how to earn air miles (one may be able to earn lots of air miles including useless AirAsia Big Points and currently almost useless Enrich Points) but it does not mean that one knows how to optimize their credit card Reward Points and use the Air Miles wisely.
In respect to the above, that’s why I have My Air Miles Projects where I will teach those who have faith in me to earn air miles from thin air BUT more importantly how to optimize by not being greedy (if you are greedy you will be punished by the universe). And those who are able to follow my instructions to the dot will definitely experience Singapore Airlines Suite Class and then much more.
Well, all project has a beginning and an end or abandoned mid-way, now that many of my die hard followers who had faith me in to experience Singapore Airlines Suite Class have done so and much more (in addition to Singapore Airlines Suite Class), I have completed/fulfilled what I had set out to do in my air miles projects and time to move on, i.e. evolve to another higher level to make our lives wonderful on planet earth.
With the above, I hereby announced that My Air Miles Projects are closed and I will no longer be accepting any new Air Miles Disciples.
