Well, in the above link to Alliance Bank’s Announcement, it is stated – The above revision is only for Alliance Bank Visa Platinum Credit Card (physical) and is not applicable to Alliance Bank Visa Platinum Virtual Credit Card. There are no changes to the current features of Alliance Bank Visa Platinum Virtual Credit Card.

And best of all, the Virtual Platinum credit card is FREE FOR LIFE! No need to beg for annul fee waiver.

What above means is that you still can use your Alliance Virtual Credit Card to top up eWallets and Online Transactions.

CONCLUSION

Unless you do not have any other credit cards that offer you better benefits compared to the Alliance Bank’s Visa Infinite and Platinum Physical Visa, I guess then you have no choice but to keep using the cards.

However, to really benefit from the Alliance Visa Infinite you need to have overseas transactions. But take note on the annual fee which you may need to call CS and beg for annual fee waiver yearly!

For my case, since I have Alliance Bank Privilege Banking status, my Alliance Bank credit cards are FREE FOR LIFE so I won’t be terminating them.

Last but not least, if you are an air miles fan, don’t lah be stubborn, follow my instructions and get the Maybank Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Platinum AMEX, haha.
