Investing in a Rolex versus Hermes Bag versus Van Cleef & Arpels 18K Yellow Gold versus Cartier Love Unlimited 18K Yellow Gold Bracelet versus Physical Gold Bullion

Physical Gold Bullion

Previously, I have already published several articles on gold as an investment. In one of my exclusive articles published back in July 2024, I told my Facebook followers that they must have physical gold in their investment portfolio. Too bad most of them did not follow my instructions but I know of a person who did buy gold after reading the article and even told others to buy gold last year; and those who did buy physical gold like me are so happy when gold hit an All Time High close to RM600 per gram a few weeks ago. We shiok sendiri that we saved a few thousand Ringgit on gold jewellery that we can wear daily to shiok sendiri.

Then back in February 2025, I once again published an article on where to buy gold as I realised many people are foolishly buying gold at a higher rate. Click here to my article titled How And Where To Buy Gold And FREE Gold From Your Credit Card Transactions

Below is the price of PAMP Suisse Gold Bullion prices at UOB Bank.

Many of My Air Miles Disciples who were rewarded with FREE Gold bars would be extremely happy to note that the FREE Gold Bar(s) they earned by following my instructions to the dot prior to MCO have appreciated more than 100% in price!

Is it extremely important where you purchase your gold from, regardless online or at the goldsmith.

If you noted, when you buy gold from an approved goldsmith, they will need your NRIC so that they can submit to the authorities. Always keep the receipts of your gold purchases so when you sell you have record of how you obtained them!

As for online Gold Savings Account, I only recommend that you purchase from banks and not via any non-bank Apps because our phone may be stolen or we cannot access the App or worst still, the App account is suspended!

So if you ask me, common sense will tell me that buying physical gold is way better than buying a Rolex or Cartier or VCA or Hermes BECAUSE we have access to cash anytime anywhere on earth and more importantly the amount we get from selling our gold is based on spot rate which means we should not lose much money unless gold market crashes! And like I mentioned in the previous page, Central Banks have been buying gold for years and you should have followed them if you know what is good for you.

CONCLUSION

Rolex, Cartier, VCA, Hermes, Chanel and other material stuff are purely for shiok sendiri sensations when we wear them. If you are a die hard follower of mine, you will know that I have mentioned that one is damn s####d to buy a Rolex watch and keep it in the safe and die never having to enjoy wearing it (it is meaningless to buy stuff and put it in the safe box and not an investment lah if you never sell and make profit or sometime lose money).

Coming back to what I wrote at the beginning in the Introduction, if you are not into vices and are not greedy for easy money where you will be scammed plus you are able to save money, by the time you are 50 years old, you should have ample cash in your FDs and EPF which are tax free and headache free. The interest and dividends from your savings will then allow you to burn money on holidays and material stuff…… and if you need cash, withdraw from your savings or even better, sell your property that you are not staying in instead of leaving more than enough to your child or grandchildren who will become instant millionaire the moment you die. And if you have no children, please explain to me why you have so many properties and shares and cash which you can’t take to the grave and are not willing to donate your money while you are alive but allow someone else to spend your money without you having anymore control or earning positive karma points?

And if you have bought gold (either PAMP Suisse Bullion or Gold Savings Account) after reading my very 1st Edition of Investment Wealth Retirement in October 2016 when Gold was RM5500 per oz, today you would have made more than 200% (as of 29th October 2025, Gold is RM16,800 per oz)….. I started to seriously invest in gold when it was RM4000 per oz to RM6000 per oz (about RM200 per gram) …. and now the profit is like free money to burn on Cartier, VCA or Tiffany 18K Yellow Gold 🙂
