The Best Top Credit Cards In Malaysia 2026 For Cash Back, Balance Transfer, Airport Lounge And Comprehensive Review Of Enrich Points versus KrisFlyer Miles versus Asia Miles

The Best Credit Card For Overseas Transactions

The Best Credit Cards for Overseas Transactions are mostly Premier or Super Premium Credit Cards. I will only list Premier Credit Cards (minimum annual income less than RM120K) for this review:

UOB Visa Infinite (non Privilege Banking) or PRVI Miles Elite – 1 Air Mile (Enrich Point or KrisFlyer or Asia Miles) for every RM1.20 spent. Annual fee waived with RM50K spending (click here to read the announcement on annual fee and Lounge Access). Please note for UOB Privilege Banking VI plastic card the annual fee is now waived without spending a sen.

Alliance Bank Visa Infinite – 1 Enrich Point for every RM1.50 spent.

Maybank Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer AMEX Platinum – 1 Kris Flyer Mile for every RM2 spent. Freaking good for an Entry Level Credit Card which is better than Maybank’s Premier Credit Cards that earns Treats Points.

Maybank Visa Infinite – 1 Air Mile (Kris Flyer or Enrich Point or Asia Miles) for every RM2.50 spent. Please note you MUST spend minimum RM80K per year for the 2nd and subsequent annual fees to be waived.

FREE For Life CIMB Travel Platinum MasterCard – 1 Enrich Point for every RM2.50 spent overseas or 1 KrisFlyer Mile for every RM3 spent overseas. Look carefully, this FREE FOR LIFE credit card offers 1 Enrich Point for every RM2.50 spent overseas which is the same as Maybank Visa Infinite where you MUST spend RM80K for the annual fee to be waived!!!

Like I mentioned, Super Premium Credit Cards are excellent for overseas spending. For example, If you can spend minimum RM10K overseas in a month with RHB PREMIER Visa Infinite you will earn 10X Loyalty Plus Points which works out to 1 Enrich Point for every RM0.80 spent overseas!!!

There are even better Super Premium Credit Card compared to the above mentioned RHB Premier Visa Infinite, do some research if you do earn more than RM300K p.a. And if you must know, it is not CIMB Travel World Elite MasterCard which gives me a headache trying to remember all the spending quotas for different categories.
