The Best Credit Card for Balance Transfer in 2026 is from Maybank as they are offering 0% Balance Transfer for 12 months until 31st March 2026.

Why is Maybank 0% Balance Transfer good?

1. There is no One-Time Upfront Admin Fee for the 12 months 0% Balance Transfer. Please note Maybank also offers 0% Interest BT for 24 months BUT there is a One-Time Upfront Fee which means it is not 0% interest lah,.
2. The repayment installments are fixed with Maybank BT. For example, HLB you only need to pay 5% each month for their BT which means you will need to pay a huge amount at the end which may be an issue for most.
3. If we pay/settle in full your Maybank monthly Statement Balance which will include the installment plan PRIOR to the Due Date, we will not be imposed a sen in interest. On the other hand, HLB will imposed a penalty in the event we settle the Balance Transfer Plan in full earlier – 1 day earlier also kena penalty! So if you are interested in a 0% BT plan that imposes penalty for early settlement, I STRONGLY recommend that you DO NOT utilize it because you are sure to pay something extra eventually. Also please note that some Foreign Bank will imposed interest on NEW transactions if you utilize their Balance Transfer Plan.

Occasionally RHB will also offers 0% Balance Transfer Plan with 0% Up Front Admin Fee for existing card holders where the BT amount are repaid in equal installments just like Maybank’s case.
