From the table below, you can observe that we will need 7000 TP to convert to 1K Air Miles effective 1st September 2022 – that’s 40% inflation!

So basically come 1st September 2022:

1. For the Visa Infinite where we earn 2X TP for local transactions, this means we earn 1 air mile for every RM3.50 spent. Which is really not too bad compared to other credit cards. But take note for spending where we earn 1X TP, other credit cards can be better!!!
2. As for the AMEX Reserve, we still earn 1 air mile for every RM1.40 spent locally; thus the Maybank 2 Cards Premier AMEX Reserve still holds the title of the Best Credit Card in Malaysia for Air Miles except for spending related to Insurance, Education, Utility, Government and eWallets.
