Last week I presented to you guys My Suite Class Travel Report with Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 Melbourne to Singapore. I returned to Melbourne with Qantas. It was my first experience flying with Qantas and I must say I am pretty happy with the Lounge in Singapore. The service on the plane was excellent too, even better than Malaysia Airlines, if you ask me.
Qantas Singapore Lounge Changi Terminal 1
The Qantas Lounge is located at the Mezzanine Floor nearer to Gate C. It is huge and I was surprised that there was no separation between First Class and Business Class, i.e. they are served the same food and drinks.
Well, in terms of food and drinks, the Qantas Singapore Lounge can be classified as “normal” for an airport lounge in Singapore, i.e. comparable to Singapore Airlines Business Class and Dnata Lounge (please click here to my Airport Lounge Page to see more Lounges in Singapore Airport). Then again, maybe not, they are kind of unique as they have Remy Martin VSOP and the only lounge in Singapore that serves Pandan Kaya Lamingtons.
However, for First Class passengers, it is a let down as they don’t have freshly served food, i.e. butler service. However, I was told that next year First Class and Business Class will have separate areas.
